When we walk in the room we smell spaghetti sauce. The dog smells tomato, oregano, basil, bay leaf, garlic, onion, green pepper, mushroom and all the other spices in the pot. It is this ability that we focus on when we teach our dogs to find mold (mould).

Often, mold cannot be seen by the naked eye either because it is covered up, growing in hard to reach places or because it is hiding in fabrics, carpets and air. In these cases, a dog can easily use its developed (and specially trained) sense of smell to locate where the mold is growing without putting holes in your walls or causing unnecessary and costly damage to your property.

Our mold technician can then take an air quality test to determine what kind of mold is there and in what concentrations.
